Kormos and V. Nagy Law Firm was founded in 2012. Members of the firm have more than fifteen years of legal practice experience. The mixed-practice firm specializes in economic law matters, however, it also provides general legal activities, such as drafting real estate sales contracts, company formation, company modification, and legal advice.  

LEGAL ACTIVITY

In the field of immigration law, our services include the procedures for obtaining a residence or settlement permit for foreign citizens living in Hungary, the administration of letters of invitation, citizenship matters, as well as providing assistance in visa matters. We also represent our Clients before the National Directorate-General for Aliens.

The firms provides and undertakes the permanent representation of companies, within the framework of which it provides complex legal services to its Clients. These include, in particular, the drafting of contracts and commenting on company law issues. We have experience in representing property protection, industrial-manufacturing plants and communication companies.

In the field of criminal law, we provide defense activities, victim representation, other forms of assistance activities permitted by the Criminal Procedure Act, and representation during mediation proceedings.

Furthermore, the firm also specializes in the establishment of companies and the transfer of factual and legal changes affecting the operation of companies (including those that operate with the participation of foreign members), which also includes consulting and drafting of documents.

In the field of real estate law, the activities of the law firm include the preparation of real estate sales contracts, lease agreements and other agreements concerning real estate, legal opinions, registration of rights and facts in the real estate register. In the case of real estate matters, the office provides advice and representation on enforcement procedures. In connection with real estate matters, we also provide representation in the case of foreigners’ property acquisition permits.

In divorce matters, the firm undertakes to provide legal advice and representation in litigation or mediation proceedings related to the divorce.

Members of the firm, in their respective fields of law, are available to their Clients for personal consulation and advice at any previosly agreed time.

Kormos and V. Nagy Law Firm has become a member of , a is a national network of real estate, making the firm entitled to carry out official real estate activities.

The real estate brokerage network  specifically for lawyers and members of law firms, in addition to their classic legal activities, to carry out real estate activities as authorized by the Lawyer’s Act.

The members of the  real estate network  carry out their real estate brokerage services, as part of their legal activities, in compliance with strict legal and professional standards of legal ethics and practice, under the supervision of bar associations, with the protection of their legal liability insurance, which is a significant guarantee for Clients.

The aim of the lawyers of the network is to provide outstanding, high-quality, value-for-money and competitive services to their Clients, based on their university qualifications, knowledge of real estate law, during the preparation and conclusion of contracts, and representation of their Clients.

Of course, with the cooperation of the members of the network’s lawyers and in compliance with the relevant legal regulations and restrictions, custody and contracting tasks related to real estate transactions can also be performed.

If you would like to sell or buy a property, contact our firm as a cooperating partner already during the preparation. We are at the disposal of our Clients with advice and a full range of real estate brokerage activities, not only for sales, but also for services related to the use and rental of real estate. According to the order, we assess and advertise the property or find the right buyer, tenant, property for sale, or rental property for rent. It is important to mention that it is not necessary to give a full, all-encompassing order in the context of real estate activities. An order can be given, limited to consulting, obtaining documents, or even commenting on a contract concluded with another real estate agent.
